The personal data we collect
When you start the registration process, you will be directed to the website of our partner organisation, Active.com, who are acting as our data processor. Their site we will ask you for some information that we need to deliver the Mad March Mare activity. As well as your name and contact details, we will ask you about your occupation (as this gives us useful demographic data) and any medical conditions (this is important to allow us to deliver the event safely). We will also ask for the details of someone who can act as an emergency contact: please check that this person agrees to you giving us their details. Finally, Active.com will ask you for the information it needs to process your payment for the event.

You are providing your data to us with your consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing info@challengenorthumberland.co.uk.

Who will see your personal data
Your data will be held on an Active.com database. Active.com are an industry-leading event booking company, and we have taken all reasonable measures to satisfy ourselves that they will protect your data and process it in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data will also be available to the staff and contracted representatives of Challenge Northumberland.

How long we will retain your data
We will hold your personal data for three years. This is to allow us to contact about future events that may be of interested you. It is in our legitimate interests to do so. You may, if you wish, object to our use of your data for this purpose.

After three years, your data will be deleted from both Challenge Northumberland and Active.com websites.
